Repeat this treatment 2 or 3 times a day for several days.
C. Turmeric Powder – Anti-inflammatory and Painful
Turmeric contains curcumin, which has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It effectively reduces plaque, pain, swelling, gums inflammation and reduces bacterial activity to prevent infection.
Make a paste from 1 teaspoon of turmeric powder and a half teaspoon of salt and mustard oil. Apply on your teeth and gums and massage twice a day.
Alternatively, mix half a teaspoon of turmeric powder with some water or vitamin E oil to make a gum wrap.
Apply to your gum and leave for 10 minutes before rinsing with warm water. Do this treatment at least once a day in a week.
D. Coconut Oil – Reduces Bacteria
Gargling with certain oils such as coconut or sesame oil is a popular practice that can help you reduce the bacteria which is causing gingivitis.
This practice can reduce plaque, strengthen the gums and help maintain your oral health.
Put 1 tablespoon of sesame or coconut oil in your mouth.
Gargle in the mouth and through the teeth for 15 to 20 minutes.
Spit and then gargle thoroughly with warm water.
Do this every morning before brushing your teeth.
E. Tea Tree Oil – Overcoming Chronic Gingivitis
Tea tree oil has antibiotic and anti-inflammatory properties, it is recommended to treat chronic gingivitis. This oil can provide quick relief for irritation of inflamed gums.
Use tea tree oil toothpaste to brush your teeth every day. If the toothpaste is not available, add a drop of tea tree oil to regular toothpaste every time you brush your teeth. You can also use a gel that contains tea tree oil.
Do not swallow tea tree oil because it can cause stomach irritation and diarrhea.
F. Peppermint Tea – Reduces Inflammation
Peppermint contains antibacterial and antiseptic properties to treat gingivitis. It can also reduce inflammation and bacteria that cause bad breath.
Soak some peppermint leaves that have been pounded in water for 30 minutes and then use for gargling 2 or 3 times a day.
Alternatively, prepare a cup of concentrated peppermint tea and drink between meals or use it as a mouthwash when cool.

The dentist will take some steps when treating gingivitis such as:
Step 1 – First they will do diagnosis, they will ask your symptoms and review your medical history.
Step 2 – Then they will examine the condition of teeth and gum if the gum bleeding or fester dentist will drain the pus or at a severe level they will pull the infected teeth.
The growth of bacteria will form an abscess on teeth that causing infection and spread to the surrounding of gum area. This condition leads to occlusion of pus on your gums.
